2019 Mentorship Program - Youth Ages 18 to 30 years old - Apply by April 30th, 2019

The Climate Guides Mentorship program is building collaborative, intergenerational and peer-to-peer relationships between emerging climate leaders and professionals in the field. This is the program’s second year, and is designed as a two-month accelerator program from June 1st to July 31st. Mentees are offered guidance from mentors, capacity building, and access to $1,500 seed funding from Taking IT Global #RisingYouth grants.

Young climate leaders aged 18 to 30 years old are grouped with seasoned professionals in the one of the following areas: nature, food, justice, energy, and cities. Mentees develop projects tackling climate change from idea to implementation. Mentors have the opportunity to guide and empower the next generation and gain insight into their work.

The program launches with a Summit that gathers the entire cohort together and wraps up with Showcase open to the public. Mentees will also participate in two skill-building workshops during the program.
