Systemic Advocacy

What is it?

Systemic advocacy happens when the YCAO finds that a number of individuals that come to our office are experiencing the same issue. For example, we were finding that lots of our clients were struggling with the transition out of group home care and in to independent living after ageing out of care. Because we saw a trend, we took action and are completing the Group Home Review which will be released in 2019.
